Digital Strategist

It’s not often the opportunity arises to change the world. At Kaiden we do that every week. We are a unique strategy consultancy company lead by people with broad experience in building business, as well as hands on knowledge about technology. On the one hand this combination allows us to provide insights and advice to business and product leaders to help them be aware of the opportunities and risks that technology provides, while also being able to lead efforts to fulfilment. On the other hand it means being able to take existing innovations and research, understanding its implications, and creating a product and business strategy around it.

Every person in Kaiden has had experience leading and building products in challenging environments. The company has taken off rapidly and we are now looking to expand the team with a new partner and digital strategist.

You would be joining an experienced, multi-talented and ambitious team, developing a leading strategy consultancy house, and giving customers insights from your broad experience and with them building the next big thing.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to understand their business needs and what they need to know about relevant technology
• Evaluate current technology strategies and platforms for fit in driving towards customer vision
• Specify technology solutions and product strategies
• Build product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies for new products
• Work with technology teams and researchers to understand their innovations and product potential
• Participate with Kaiden team to develop sales strategies and ways to productise our offering
• Take an active business development role inside Kaiden

Who you are

• A driven, independent person with an entrepreneurial spirit
• A willingness to help develop Kaiden as a company
• At least 5 years of experience in management or team leadership
• At least 5 years of experience working directly with technology
• We prefer if you have also had hands-on experience developing technology and are familiar with technology tools (can you use git?)
• Some history in consultancy or coaching is considered a benefit
• Fluent Finnish and English
• You have the means to commute to our Helsinki office 1–2 a week
